| 7/18/2010:
If you would like to have frogs in your yard, consider building a bog similar
to the ones shown on the Backyard Turtles page. They are magnets for frogs.
We also dumped some tadpoles in our Bog-in-a-Box which is generating a
steady supply of new frogs for our bogs. This year we are entertained by
some common gray tree fogs that like to come down close to the bog in our
turtle pen and trill after dark.
6/13/2010: We have added items to the Free Aquariums and More page and will be happy to list items you want to give away. We are overrun with bog plants and you do not have to own turtles to receive some. We would also like to build up a bigger list of people willing to accept red-eared sliders. You may also receive requests to take other turtles which is fine. If you only want a few red-eared sliders, simply tell us when you have enough and we will remove your name from the list. So check out our Red-eared Sliders Wanted page and consider having your name added to the list. |
